Thanks, Hot Fix. Besides the art and music combo, what I loved the most about “TODAY” is the fact that my husband was just next to me while I was working on my art, and every time I would take a break, I could mess around with him. I would unplugged my headphones and we would dance to the music. 🙂
Very well said, jdb57. I find playing with my watercolor and brush very relaxing – although, I must admit, I am a “preschool” artist. When I attended a painting class decades ago, it was because I wanted to hangout with my “artist” friend. But, we had so much fun!
Thank you for your vote of confidence, Atreegrowsinblyn. Sometimes we need to “play” and enjoy life. Life is short, they say, and we have to take advantage of every second to live as if its our last. Do you like music and painting too?
I like all kinds of music. I played the clarinet throughout my school years; unfortunately it didn’t carry over into adulthood. I’ve taken classes in watercolor and I occasionally will have at it. At the moment, I’ve been teaching myself to crochet and knit. Also, blogging has become a fun hobby.
Thank you, Orples! It has been awhile since I last played with my watercolor and brush. Now that I have more time in my hands, I thought it will be an interesting way to practice painting again. 🙂
