Photo Challenge 2012 (Launch)

LAUNCH  (Jan2012)

Situated on a peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean,  water fun, needless to say, plays a big role in the  life of Floridians and its visitors alike.  Besides beach goers who often just contentedly lounge on the sand with a good book, there are also a lot of  water activities to enjoy to.  There’s parasailing, boating, paddle boarding, jet skiing, frisbee tossing, and, if you have the heart to be close to alligators, you can try kayaking in Florida’s fresh waters.

My husband and I saw several boats launched on Florida’s rivers and lakes. We spoke to some of them regarding their water adventures, and they all shared the same comment: it’s EXCITING! This year, 2012, we want to test the water and see how it will work for us. I hope alligators remain friendly.  Stay tune!

  7. The colors really come alive in your lovely photo for me. The green of the kayak, the yellow paddles and the shadows against all the nature has me captivated and mesmerized. Thanks a bunch! HF
